FTC is a psychologically-based, 1-on-1 coaching program, conducted virtually. The program is short-term-oriented, averaging 3 to 6 sessions, with most sessions lasting 45 minutes. The emphasis in FTC is on tackling specific psychological issues that may be challenging you. Examples of issues which can be addressed through FTC include:
—anger or stress management
—a pattern of self-sabotage (created by your inner bully/critic)
—coping with the trauma of a recent betrayal
—the imposter syndrome
—relationship communication challenges
—complicated grief
—low self-esteem/self-worth
—self-sabotage specifically around weight loss
Between-session homeworks are an important part of FTC, to maintain momentum from in-session discussion. Please keep in mind too that FTC is not psychotherapy. Little if any exploration is done of, e.g., unresolved childhood traumas or other long-standing complicated issues, which is part of many psychotherapies. So; if you would like more details about FTC itself and/or information about fees, please either email me at drsidcohen@gmail.com, or call me in my office at 856-428-1685.
